§ 2. What Data We Process, for What Purpose, and on What Legal Basis?

We process the following categories of data:

User Account Data

Data: Email address, user ID, password (hashed) when you create an account. Purpose: To create and maintain your account, allowing you to save your progress and access your history. Legal Basis: Necessity to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).

Data Necessary to Provide the Service (Your Answers)

Data: The answers you provide in the questionnaire concerning your relationship and post-breakup situation. This data may include special categories of data (sensitive data), such as information about your love life. Purpose: To generate the personalized Analysis, which is the subject of the Service. Legal Basis: Your explicit, freely given consent (Art. 9(2)(a) of the GDPR), expressed by ticking the appropriate checkbox before submitting the form. You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

Transaction Data

Data: Payment information (amount, date, transaction status). We do not store your full payment card details. Purpose: To process the payment for the Service. Legal Basis: Necessity to perform a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR) and legal obligations related to accounting.

Technical and Analytical Data

Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed. Purpose: To ensure the proper functioning of the Service, optimization, statistical analysis, and to improve the quality of our services. Legal Basis: Your voluntary consent for analytical cookies (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR) and our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) for data necessary for the site's functionality.

§ 3. Data Retention Period

  • Account Data and Answers (for logged-in Users): We store this data until you delete your account. Account deletion is irreversible and results in the permanent erasure of all associated data.
  • Generated Analysis: We store it for a period of 90 days from its generation to allow you to retrieve it in case of technical issues. After this time, it is permanently deleted.
  • Transaction Data: We store it for the period required by tax and accounting laws.

§ 4. Data Recipients and Transfer Outside the EEA

We may share your personal data with trusted third parties (so-called data processors) who provide services for us to make our Service operational. These include:

  • Google (Gemini AI & Google Analytics): To generate the Analysis and for analytical purposes.
  • Vercel, Inc.: Provider of hosting infrastructure for our Service.
  • Stripe, Inc.: Online payment operator.
  • Clerk.com: Provider of user authentication and management services.
  • PostHog, Inc.: Provider of analytical tools (if used).

Some of these companies are based outside the European Economic Area (EEA), primarily in the USA. The transfer of data to these countries is based on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, which ensures an adequate level of protection for your data.
